Paul Bateman, our Director & Project Manager, has been in the building & construction industry since 1995. In this time, he has acquired a wealth of knowledge in the industry and its practices.
As the proud owner of Alpha 1 Builders Ltd, he has the background of having been an operator in the building business since 2003. Paul's honesty & diplomacy whilst managing your project delivers the best outcome for you.

Project Manager and Director of Alpha 1 Builders Ltd since 2003, Paul started his building apprenticeship in 1995, building high-end residential & semi-commercial projects. He is a trade-qualified builder (1999), a Licensed Building Practitioner and Award-winning Master Builder, and boasts extensive expertise in (although not limited to) the following fields:
Since its inception in 2003, Alpha 1 Builders has employed up to 25 staff, running multiple large scale projects. Recently, Paul and the team have carved out a niche as a smaller, more boutique-sized Auckland building company, with refined systems.
Outside of his trade, Paul is a member of Eden Rugby's executive board as the Rugby Chairman. He currently resides in Mount Albert with his wife and three young children.
